CPI: No interpretation will free Bolsonarists from jail – 04/22/2023 – Celso Rocha de Barros

A rather weird leak of videos recorded during the Bolsonarista Intentona on January 8, 2023 brought back the idea of ​​the CPI do Coup.

If it happens, I suggest you start with the story of how Bolsonarists tried to blow up children traveling to visit their grandparents at Christmas 2022.

On December 24, 2022, Christmas Eve, three Bolsonarist terrorists tried to blow up a fuel truck at Brasília airport. The police managed to stop the explosion and arrested the terrorists.

One of the terrorists, Wellington Macedo de Souza, was an advisor at the Ministry of Women, Family and Human Rights, directed, throughout the Bolsonaro government, by now Senator Damares Alves (Republicanos-DF).

The other two Christmas Eve terrorists, George Washington de Oliveira Souza and Alan dos Santos Rodrigues, were in Congress shortly before the crime. It was at a public hearing convened by Bolsonarist Senator Eduardo Girão (Podemos-CE).

The audience was a veritable coup carnival. Former judges Ivan Sartori and Sebastião Coelho openly asked for military intervention, to general applause.

Keeping the Christmas Eve terrorist company at the audience were all the political leaders of Bolsonarism in addition to the Bolsonaro family: deputies Carla Zambelli (PL-SP), Filipe Barros (PL-PR), Daniel Silveira (PTB-RJ), Bia Kicis (PL-DF), Osmar Terra (MDB-RS) and Luis Carlos Heinze (PP-RS).

According to the website Nexo, after the event, demonstrators who had been gathering in front of the barracks calling for a coup d’état sang: “If necessary, we camp, but the thief does not go up the ramp”. Daniel Silveira expressed his willingness to “kill or be killed”.

Speaking of the camps in front of the barracks, about whose coup there is no reasonable doubt, it was there that George Washington planned the attack on Christmas Eve. According to him, the plan involved other coup protesters, who even provided “a remote control and four triggers” for the explosives.

Fortunately, the police were able to arrest the Christmas Eve terrorists before the tragedy unfolded, and Brasilia’s children were able to travel to see their grandparents.

But Bolsonaristas in the camps, who had enough political ties to participate in the congressional hearing, and access to someone (military? police? common criminal?) capable of supplying explosive triggers, didn’t give up: on January 8, they attempted the coup d’état. State.

Bolsonarism leaders, starting with Jair himself, inspired the Christmas Eve terrorists, gave them access to Congress and organized the camps where the terrorists planned the attack and got the triggers for their explosives.

It was this same movement that attempted the coup on January 8, 2023, which was able to destroy the headquarters of the three Powers because the Brasília police were under orders from Anderson Torres, Bolsonaro’s former Minister of Justice in whose residence the police found the draft declaration of the coup.

That’s what the choir of facts sings.

I understand, therefore, that Bolsonarist leaders create delusional interpretations about January 8th. After all, no reasonable interpretation will get them out of jail.
