For the second time, the Court of Justice of Paraná (TJ-PR)through a decision by judge Maria Aparecida Blanco de Lima, denied, this Friday (9), the request for a suspensive effect on the ban on almost two thousand fans from entering Couto Pereira to watch the games.

With the new decision, 1,775 fans are still prevented from entering Couto and watching Coxa’s games. Among those barred are children, the elderly and even people who were not in Vila Capanema on the day of the incident.

Império Alviverde’s legal team had requested a new analysis from the TJ-PR last Thursday (8).

In the new appeal, the organization states that, of the fans, only 350 are active members of the club and asked that the punishment be restricted to fans already identified in the Vila Capanema fight, in the game against Cruzeiro, in November 2023.

At the beginning of the week, the judge had already denied Império’s request to release the barred fans. Since last Friday (2), fans have been unable to access the stadium.

Alviverde’s next home game is on Wednesday (14), against Maringá, at 8pm. And on Sunday (18), the Atletiba classic takes place, also at Couto Pereira.
