Registration is open for the extension course “Let’s read the leaflet?”, offered by the Department of Pharmacology of the Institute of Biomedical Sciences at USP.
The course is free and aims to guide participants on the specifics required for reading medication package inserts, in addition to clarifying doubts and preventing errors.
The classes, offered by professors of the department, will be transmitted by videoconferences, accessible through the Google Classroom platform. Course materials will also be available for consultation and download.
There will be four one-and-a-half-hour meetings, held on Tuesdays, between June 6th and 27th, at 2 pm. The first hour of each meeting will have an expository class and the last 30 minutes will be devoted to answering questions from participants.
The course content is aimed at the lay public, from 15 years old and without training in the area of biomedicine, in addition to caregivers of the elderly and people with special needs.
