Manaus (AM) – The mayor of Manaus (CMM), councilor Caio André (PSC), announced, this Wednesday (28), the anticipation of the first installment of the 13th salary of about 1,800 CMM employees. By Em Tempo, councilors celebrate and support the decision.

Caio André also declared that the project for a new law for restructuring the salary of Commissioned Parliamentary Assistant (APC) positions is already underway in the House.

“The project provides, among other measures, to change the basis for calculating amounts to be paid in the first installment of the 13th salary. The anticipation of the 13th for this group of servers will be made after the processing of the respective law “

The mayor’s decision was well accepted by some councillors. Councilor Allan Campelo (PSC), said he was in favor of the advance to employees and informed that most of their powers are already advancing the thirteenth salary.

“I agree with the advance, not only me but most councilors agree. It will not have a financial impact, nor will it harm the House’s accounts, because this was done based on a study. Today, not only the City Council, but most powers are already advancing the thirteenth ”, he declared.

According to Caio André, the resources are important to move the economy and bring a positive impact to several sectors, especially to the trade in Manaus.

“The anticipation of the first installment of the 13th salary has a positive impact on the economy of our capital, especially in the commerce sector. It is also an important resource for balancing the family budget, often used to settle debts or even to save”

A point that councilor Eduardo Assis (Avante) also agreed and added saying that the decision helps to insert more money, move the city’s economy, jobs and helps the servants of the house, as has occurred in several other secretariats and in the City Hall itself from Manaus.

“I do not see any problem with the decision of the president of this legislative house to anticipate the thirteenth salary mainly because it helps to insert more money into our economy and our city and helps to move the economy, as has happened in several other secretariats and in Manaus City Hall itself. I see that the president of this legislative house has handled all the expenses and expenses of this House with great responsibility and I believe that it will not impact the budget and expenses”
