In Mazagão, political movement is intense regarding the succession of the current mayor Dudão Costa, prevented from running on October 6, as he was serving his second consecutive term.

This past weekend, the municipality, which belongs to the Macapá Metropolitan Area, was shaken by the information that the councilor Binho Oliveira, from the senator’s party Lucas Barreto, the PSD, will compete to succeed Dudão.

Binho revealed that he was a candidate for mayor of Mazagão, on the program ‘Togas and Gowns’presented in FM Diary by lawyers Helder Carneiro, Wagner Gomes, Helder Afonso and Caio Campos.

Binho, whose given name is Wenderson Oliveira dos Santos, has a short public career, but has already seen notable victories.

His first victory was at the age of 18, when he was the most voted guardian councilor in the municipality. Afterwards, he joined the council and is now in his second term.

On the radio program, Binho Oliveira presented himself as an option for the electorate of Mazagão, on October 6 of this year, and promised to unite the strength of his youth with his desire to work in favor of the development of the municipality.
