Coritiba announces Paranaense under-20 top scorer

Coritiba announced this Thursday (1st) the signing of the young striker Brandão, created in Londrina’s youth categories. The 19-year-old center forward was the top scorer in the Paranaense Under-20 Championship in 2023 and will join the Cox-White base.

During the 2024 State Championship, the athlete will also be part of the professional team to rotate the squad and gain experience. Brandão signed for three years with Alviverde, which has 70% of the athlete’s rights.

“It is very gratifying to see that my work has been recognized by a giant of Brazilian football. I’m very proud and I’m going to work hard to create new opportunities”, said the striker on the club’s website.

In 2023, Brandão was runner-up with Londrina in the Paranaense under-20, when the team lost precisely to Coxa. The striker scored 21 goals in 23 games and was the competition’s top scorer.
