The Brazilian delegation, being the most numerous at COP28, the UN climate conference, is not only in Dubai to communicate its messages globally, but also to reinforce them with the Brazilian government.

The active presence of NGOs, social movements and indigenous communities highlights that, under the international spotlight, domestic pressure intensifies. At climate conferences, internal issues are addressed outside the national scope.

At COP28, Brazilian diplomacy has promoted the “1.5 mission”, urging countries to reassess their climate goals to align with a global warming limit lower than that established in Paris.

To comment on the convention, presenter Isabella Faria talks live this Wednesday (13) with the editor of Environment, Giuliana de Toledo, on Como É que É?.
