To liven up the Brazilian patron saint’s day holiday in the capital of Paraná, the 1st Oktober Curitiba promises to be an incredible experience for all lovers of German culture and beer lovers. With a festive atmosphere, between the 12th and 15th of October, the Positivo Exhibition Center in Parque Barigui, should receive around 30 thousand people and will become a real piece of Munich, with craft beer stalls, typical dishes, lively music and lots of fun.

This will be a unique opportunity for Curitiba residents and visitors to celebrate German tradition, wear their typical costumes, toast with friends and enjoy memorable moments. Tickets are on sale from R$40, children up to 12 years old are free.

As it couldn’t be any different, the Curitiba party will feature draft beers and craft beers. The first edition of Oktober Curitiba It counts on the partnership and specialized curation of the Association of Microbreweries of the State of Paraná (Procerva), which selected the 15 craft breweries in the region, serving beers of the most varied styles. The public will be able to taste exclusive labels from major references in the national market, including Way Beer, 4hops, Fumaçônica, Joy Project Brewing, Alright Beer, Van Dutch Beer, Cervejaria Xamã, 4Bodes, Ignorus, Bastards, Yule Brewery, Araucária, Swamp Brewing , Coice de Mula and Lobos Cervejaria.

In the craft brewery space alone, there will be more than 60 taps serving thousands of liters of draft beer throughout the festival. The breweries will make some of their main labels available, in addition to the official party option: the German Style Maerzen draft beer, originating in Germany and present at the main German festivals around the world.

Of course there will be a lot of delicious typical food (and we tell you all the details in a special article – read here), but it doesn’t stop there, the Oktober Curitiba there will be a food court with several options of dishes for all tastes, such as hamburgers, hot dogs, pastries, empanadas, potato portions, churros, crepes, various sandwiches, coffees, savory snacks and sweets.

With a structure that will occupy an area of ​​10 thousand m², the Oktober Curitibwas designed for the whole family and will have a kids space, with a separate price. The attraction will have monitors and various activities for little ones.

Live shows will be held on the main stage of the event, with bands such as Cavalinho, Sonatas, Fockus, XV Show and Orquestra Continental, who will rock the party to the sound of lots of typical music. In addition to the live performances, the event will feature DJs, including Cabeção and Denny Mello, who will lead the pick-ups.

Typical dances and traditional games will also be part of the official program, with emphasis on the “beer beer in metro” competition, the beer race and the log sawyer test.
