Sentenced to 8 years and 10 months in prison in a closed initial regime, by the Federal Supreme Court, former president Fernando Collor de Mello still has few judicial resources to remain free.

A wise man who has seen it all believes that, before going to jail, Collor will leave the country.

The citizen had complained about the scene, and a PM asked him if he had a degree in public safety. As it was not: “Stay in your place”.

Then the PM spoke on the phone. He came back saying he should go to the police station, “by hook or by crook.”
(In 1955, in Montgomery, police were trying to arrest drivers who gave rides to blacks boycotting segregated buses.)

The practice of taking to the police station as witnesses those who record scenes of improper conduct by the police is widespread. The governor of São Paulo, Tarcísio de Freitas, was in the military and was in Haiti. He knows that one thing is one thing and another thing is another thing.
