CCJR of the Assembly releases figures for the first half

The President of the Legislative Branch, Deputy Roberto Cidade (UB), evaluated the performance of the main Committee of the House as extremely positive.

Manaus (AM) – The Constitution, Justice and Writing Commission (CCJR) of the Legislative Assembly of Amazonas (Aleam) conducted, between February and July this year, a total of 16 Ordinary Meetings, three Extraordinary Meetings and three Virtual Meetings, using the Process Support System Legislative (SAPL). During this period, the CCJR analyzed a total of 833 projects, including Ordinary Law Projects, Legislative Resolution Projects, Complementary Law Projects, Legislative Decrees and Proposed Amendments to the Constitution.

Among the analyzed projects, 646 received approval with favorable opinions from the committee members, following the legislative process and being forwarded to the respective thematic committee. On the other hand, 187 projects were shelved due to some defect or unconstitutionality identified.

As for the number of opinions prepared by the members of the commission, Deputy Delegate Péricles (PL), president of the CCJR, reported 250 projects. Deputy Débora Menezes (PL), vice-president of the Commission, was designated as rapporteur for 100 projects. Among the holders, deputy Alessandra Campêlo (PSC) was designated as rapporteur for 87 projects. Deputy Carlinhos Bessa (PV) assumed responsibility for preparing opinions for 140 projects. Deputy Felipe Souza (Patriota) was designated as rapporteur for 102 bills. Deputy Thiago Abrahim (União Brasil) reported 90 projects, while Deputy Wilker Barreto (Cidadania) analyzed 100 projects.

With seven parliamentarians as members, plus three alternates, the CCJR is responsible for verifying the constitutional, legal, juridical, regimental and legislative technical aspect of proposals subject to the appreciation of the Legislative Assembly and of matters that are forwarded to it; establish fundamental rights and guarantees, the organization of the State and its powers and the functions essential to justice; verify the creation, incorporation, merger, subdivision, dismemberment and state intervention in the Municipality, and finally, the final wording of proposals approved by the Plenary.
