Government decides to include bonuses to reduce the INSS queue in readjustment MP for police officers – 07/14/2023 – Panel

The government decided to include the bonus for civil servants and experts from the INSS (National Social Security Institute) in a provisional measure aimed at increasing the remuneration of military police officers, civilians and firefighters in the Federal District and the extinct federal territories.

The Panel had access to the draft of the MP. There was an expectation that the text would be signed by President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva this Friday (14), but the most likely thing is that this will happen at the beginning of next week – the payroll of professionals who are benefited by the readjustment in the DF closes on Tuesday (18), according to sources familiar with the proceedings.

The MP creates the program to face the Social Security queue, lasting nine months. The objective of reducing the analysis time of administrative processes for initial recognition, maintenance, review, appeal, operational monitoring of benefits and social evaluation of benefits administered by the INSS, provided that they represent a real addition to the regular operational capacity of completing requirements —that is, , which exceed the goal of analyzes per day.

It is also aimed at carrying out extra medical examinations or additional analyzes of documents related to social security or assistance, administrative or judicial benefits.

According to the draft, the bonus to reduce the INSS queue will be BRL 68 per additional analysis, while the extra amount to reduce the medical expertise queue will be BRL 75.

There will also be a program monitoring committee, made up of representatives from the Ministries of Social Security and Management, the Civil House and the INSS, to periodically evaluate and monitor the results of the initiative.

The same draft also brings changes in Funai (National Foundation of Indigenous Peoples), with a reserve of 10% to 30% for indigenous people of vacancies offered in public tenders to fill effective positions in the entity’s staff.
