The matches for the first nine rounds of Series A of the Brazilian Championship have already been defined. The CBF published the detailed table of games, times and locations this Thursday (4). The opening of the first round will be on April 13, at 5:30 pm (Manaus time), with two simultaneous clashes: Internacional x Bahia, at the Beira-Rio stadium, in Rio Grande do Sul; and Criciúma x Juventude, at Heriberto Hulse, in Santa Catarina. The championship final is scheduled for December 8th.

Among the new features of Brasileirão 2024 is the communication to the public present of decisions regarding bids reviewed by the VAR. Video referees will provide explanations to the audience through microphone announcements. The novelty – tested in this year’s Women’s Super Cup final – was approved by FIFA.

Another innovation is the awarding of the Roberto Dinamite Trophy to the Brasileirão’s top scorer. Created this year in honor of the former Vasco player and idol, it will also be awarded in future editions of the tournament.
