Around 40 businesspeople and professionals with ties to the center of São Paulo met this Wednesday (31) with representatives of the state government to discuss a program that releases R$200 million in financing to revitalize the region.
The initiative, from Desenvolvimento SP, a government development agency, provides credit for projects in the center.
Of the expected amount, R$170 million is made available by the agency for micro, small and medium-sized entrepreneurs.
Another R$30 million was reserved for MEIs (Individual Microentrepreneurs) and individuals through Banco do Povo Paulista.
Participating in the meeting, in which details of the Desenvolvimento Centro project were exposed, were names such as chef Gilmara Gondim, condominium specialist Marcio Rachkorsky, and businesspeople João Marcos Gondim, Priscila Choe and Sofia Any and lawyer Alexandre D´Abreu, among others. .
For the government, the Secretary of Economic Development, Jorge Lima, and the president of Desenvolvimento SP, Ricardo Brito, were present.
