The delivery was made to the vice-mayor of Humaitá, Alexandre Perote and the female leader in Humaitá, Aristeia Garcia.

A bus and a utility vehicle, purchased with resources from a parliamentary amendment by state deputy João Luiz (Republicans) worth R$ 900 thousand, were delivered this Wednesday morning (28) to the Association for Social and Sustainable Development of the South of Amazonas Castanheira (ADESSAC). The purpose of the delivery is to improve transport for members, including students, elderly people, People with Disabilities (PwD’s) and, mainly, beneficiaries of ADESSAC initiative projects, in the municipality of Humaitá, located 692 kilometers from Manaus.

“I am very happy to collaborate with the municipality of Humaitá, where we made a commitment to allocate resources, through a tax amendment, for the acquisition of these vehicles. The bus will be available to various groups and the car will be available to the Elderly Support House”, said deputy João Luiz.

The parliamentarian thanked Governor Wilson Lima for implementing parliamentary amendments that are of utmost importance for the south of Amazonas. The delivery was made to the vice-mayor of Humaitá, Alexandre Perote and the female leader in Humaitá, Aristeia Garcia.

“This is another dream that is being realized, through this partnership with deputy João Luiz, through which we are achieving several benefits for the associations in the municipality of Humaitá, and consequently the South of Amazonas. With this bus we will carry out various activities and with the smaller car we will use it for work at the Elderly Support House”, explained the vice-mayor, Alexandre Perote.

Solid work

Throughout his mandates in the Legislative Assembly of the State of Amazonas (Aleam), deputy João Luiz allocated more than R$ 5.5 million, in parliamentary amendments to the municipality of Humaitá, including delivery of trucks, mowers, generators and home kit flour for farmers, installation of a CT scanner, oxygen plant, maintenance of equipment, acquisition of medicines, courses for health professionals, acquisition of water collection and storage (wells), folk clothing, acquisition of computers, printers, air conditioners for schools, building maintenance for the Pelotão Mirim Program, acquisition of protective equipment for motorcycle taxi drivers, IT equipment, acquisition of vehicles for indigenous, tourism and sports causes.
