The Main Women’s Team is called up to compete in the ninth edition of the SheBelieves Cup. This Friday (15), the coach Arthur Elias announced the list of 23 players who will represent Brazil in the competition, which will take place on the FIFA date of April, between the 1st and 9th.
Brazil started the year with great achievements. In its first challenge of 2024, the Seleção was runner-up in the first Concacaf Gold Cup in history.
With an eye on the Olympic Games, Arthur Elias’ list has many new features. Of the 23 athletes called up, 15 play in Brazil. Furthermore, five athletes had not yet had the opportunity to work for the national team under the new coach.
Dispute system
Due to the Gold Cup, the SheBelieves Cup, which previously followed the traditional six-match format, will now be played in a semi-final and final format.
