On Tuesday (25), the Brazilian Sub-20 team drew 1-1 with Iraq, in the last friendly match before the World Cup. On the Canarinho side, Kevin scored the goal that evened the score, at El Chapín Stadium, in Jerez de la Frontera (ESP).
The team led by Ramon Menezes says goodbye to the friendly season in Spain undefeated, with two wins against Uzbekistan and the Dominican Republic and a draw with Iraq.
The Under-20 World Cup will be played in Argentina, between May 20th and June 11th. Brazil is in Group D alongside Italy, Nigeria and the Dominican Republic. The debut will be on the 21st against the Italians, in Mendoza.
Coach Ramon Menezes will announce the 23 squad for the World Cup next Friday (28). As the last stage of preparation, the team will be concentrated at Granja Comary, in Teresópolis (RJ), from the 8th to the 17th of May.
