Enrico Misasi, president of the São Paulo directory of the MDB, states that the decision by federal deputy Guilherme Boulos (PSOL) not to comment on the comparison made by president Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (PT) between Israel’s actions in the Gaza Strip and the Holocaust It is immoral and cowardly.

A former federal deputy, Misasi is a party colleague of Mayor Ricardo Nunes (MDB), who will have Boulos as a competitor in the race for Mayor of São Paulo in 2024.

This Monday (19), the psolista said that he is not a commentator on Lula’s speeches and that he is not a candidate for mayor of Tel Aviv.

The emedebista highlights that in 2020, when asked about the dictatorships in Cuba and Venezuela, Boulos used the same method and said that he did not intend to be a candidate for mayor of Caracas.

“In addition to being immoral and cowardly, he does not understand that global issues, if not dealt with properly, have serious consequences in a city like São Paulo — one of the most plural in the world and the largest in Latin America”, says Misasi, who also refers to Boulos as “unprepared”.

The president of the MDB directory states that Nunes’ competitor is “hung over in his bubble” and “errors due to ignorance, or consciously ignores the presence of various people in the city and everything they represent.”
