Bolsonaro tells Portuguese YouTuber that Brazil lives in a dictatorship

Former president Jair Bolsonaro said in a live broadcast on a television channel YouTube directed at Portugal that Brazil lives in a dictatorship and that the Superior Electoral Court (TSE) only focuses on its conservative parliamentary investigations.
“All TSE actions are against conservative deputies and senators. So this is the situation that Brazil finds itself in. There would be a lot to talk about. It is much more serious than what I am reporting now. We are actually living in a dictatorship here where everyone has afraid of using a cell phone and exchanging information on the WhatsApp network,” said Bolsonaro.
The live was broadcast on Saturday (3). At the beginning of the program, Portuguese digital influencer Sérgio Tavares stated that his channel fights for freedom in the world and that Bolsonaro could speak “without interference from the Brazilian Judiciary”.
Bolsonaro also spoke about President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva. He said that the Federal Supreme Court “took Lula out of jail and then made him eligible. And, later, the Federal Supreme Court, of which three of its ministers make up the Superior Electoral Court, also worked there making efforts to elect Lula at any cost ”.
According to the TSE, the 2022 elections were not rigged. The report was unable to contact the court until the report was closed. But on its website “Fato ou Ruo”, the TSE states about Lula’s election that “the candidate was elected because he received more votes than his opponent and not because of alleged undue interference in the electoral process”.
