The ‘Party People’ event kicks off the Beef Season in anticipation of the 2024 Parintins Festival
In a celebration marked by the passion for folklore and the expectation of another victory, Blog Azul presents the expected ‘Povo Festeiro’ event, officially opening the 2024 cattle season in Manaus. With the aim of anticipating the festive atmosphere surrounding the Parintins Festival, the meeting, which will take place on February 24th at the Vasco Vasques Convention Center, promises to bring together a crowd of Boi Caprichoso fans.
“Expectations are as high as possible to open this beef season in 2024. We believe this will be the biggest of all, due to the great national visibility that the bumbá cattle has been achieving. Therefore, we are preparing a unique event, with comfort and excellent services”, says Washington Vasconcelos, one of the event organizers.
With hotly contested tickets and a sold out box, the party offers Boi Caprichoso lovers the opportunity to delve into the enchanted universe of Amazonian folklore. The official trio of the bull, composed of the bull’s master Prince do Caprichoso, the toadas raiser Patrick Araújo and the official presenter Edmundo Oran, will be present to entertain the public with a vast repertoire of toadas and surprise moments.
In addition to the traditional blue attractions, this year’s ‘Povo Festeiro’ brings an exciting new feature: a partnership with the NGO Parceiros Brilhantes, which aims to promote solidarity in communities not only in Manaus, but throughout the Amazon. The event will also feature Instagrammable spaces, free beauty services, rest areas, a food court and much more.
Blog Azul, formed by a group of fans passionate about the Parintins Festival and Boi Caprichoso, has been dedicated to spreading and preserving the region’s folk culture for 9 years. With events like this, the group seeks to expand the passion for the bumbá ox and strengthen the cultural identity of Amazonas.
The ‘Povo Festeiro’ event is expected to bring together around 3,500 people for a night of celebration and excitement, providing those present with a preview of what is to come at the eagerly awaited Parintins Festival.
