Macapá will soon host a Public Hearing to mobilize the population in an active participation in the process of drafting laws, changes in existing laws, proposals and other legislative suggestions.
The information was provided by the federal deputy for the PDT-Amapá, Professor Gorete, given on the morning of this Thursday, 11, at FM Daily Radio, when talking about his election, yesterday, for vice-president of the Participatory Legislation Commission of the Federal Chamber.
“We who always hear people say that they don’t like politics, politicians, that politicians don’t solve it, I mean that there is a parliamentary professor in the Federal Chamber in a commission open to receiving all legislative suggestions”said Gorete on the program ‘LuizMeloEntrevista’.
The federal deputy called for the event to take place in the capital of Amapá “a large Public Hearing to listen to the population”asking that, in the meantime, people access their social networks where they can find advisers to respond to the demands.
Regarding the collegiate for which the first vice-president was elected, Gorete said that the Participatory Legislation Commission allows the strengthening of democracy and helps to reduce the very great discredit in politics and the Judiciary, because of fake news and other implications caused through the Internet.
The federal deputy professor said that it is also the commission’s responsibility to shorten paths on, for example, bills in urgent and emergency situations, and even on collective initiatives, which may change scenarios that negatively impact the population.
