Manacapuru (AM) – RPE Parintins is in the semi-finals of the second round of the 2024 Amazonense Championship. This Sunday (31), Tourão beat Amazonas 3-1, in an upset, at the Gilberto Mestrinho stadium, Gilbertão, in Manacapuru (80 kilometers from Manaus ), and advanced to face Manauara in the next phase. Fernando Dias, Allefe and Gabriel Mury scored the goals for the Rio Preto da Eva team and Xavier scored for the Jaguar.

In the semifinal, which will also be a single game, RPE Parintins will face Manauara, who eliminated Nacional in the quarterfinals. At this stage there is no advantage, except field control. In case of a tie, the finalist will be determined on penalties. Date, place and time of the match will be announced by the FAF.

In turn, the eliminated Amazonas focuses its attention on the Barezão 2024 final, as it was the champion of the first round and awaits the winner of the second.

The game

Much studied, the first half of the match was marked by few scoring chances. The only dangerous arrival was at five minutes. Rafael Tavares threw the ball on the left to Xavier, who tried to cross and the ball hit Robert’s crossbar.

The teams came back from the break more inspired. At six minutes, Lucas Sibito took advantage of Robert’s shot, took off from the left and finished with a dig, but Edson Mardden made the save, the ball bounced off the attacker and went out. At 10, it was Amazonas’ turn to arrive and in a precise way. Played from the right, Rafael Tavares received it inside the area and passed it to Xavier, who dominated and finished in the corner to open the score at Gilbertão.

However, the aurinegra joy was short-lived. In the 19th minute, Allefe took a corner kick in the area and Fernando rose above everyone to head it into the corner and leave everything equal. And at 24, played from the left and Lucas Sibito crossed low to Allefe, who without a goalkeeper, sent it into the back of the goal and turned the match towards Tourão.

And already in the 48th minute of the game, Gabriel Mury received the ball on the left, pulled it into the middle and sent it into Mardden’s corner to confirm the classification of the interior team.
