The Army released this Friday (5) data on developments related to the January 8 attacks.
The Force reported that there were punishments for two soldiers, but did not detail what conduct caused the disciplinary punishment and what the penalties were.
In a statement, he said that he opened four administrative processes (investigations) to investigate possible irregularities in the conduct of military personnel, but that he found no evidence of crimes.
“But disciplinary transgressions in the conduct and procedures adopted during the action at Palácio do Planalto, which after investigation resulted in two disciplinary punishments for the soldiers involved”, states the land force.
The Army also opened four military police investigations, which were concluded and forwarded to the Military Court. In one of the cases, retired colonel Adriano Camargo Testoni was condemned for posts offensive to his hierarchical superiors in chat groups on January 8.
“The remaining investigations are being conducted under the supervision of the Public Prosecutor’s Office with the intention of being submitted to their competent courts”, said the body about the investigations.
