STF (Supreme Federal Court) Minister Ricardo Lewandowski sent the accusations made by lawyer Rodrigo Tacla Duran against Senator Sergio Moro (União Brasil-PR) to the Attorney General of the Republic, Augusto Aras.

Aras will decide whether the alleged crime of extortion denounced by Tacla Duran should be investigated.

The testimony against Moro was given by Tacla Duran this week to Judge Eduardo Appio, from the 13th Federal Court of Curitiba. As Moro and former prosecutor and federal deputy Deltan Dallagnol (Podemos-PR), also cited, have special jurisdiction, the magistrate sent the documentation to the STF.

Lewandowski then dispatched Aras so that he could manifest himself.

Tacla Duran claims to have evidence that she paid US$ 613,000 to lawyers linked to the lawyer and now federal deputy Rosângela Moro (União Brasil-SP), wife of now Senator Sergio Moro.

Tacla Duran’s accusations were revealed by the column in 2017. At the time, he stated, in a draft of a book, that lawyer Carlos Zucolotto Junior, partner of Rosângela and close friend of Moro, promised him facilities in Operation Lava Jato in exchange Of money.

Tacla Duran worked from 2011 to 2016 for Odebrecht and has been appointed by the Federal Public Ministry as the financial operator of the company’s schemes. Since then, he has been making a series of accusations.

According to Tacla Duran, the conversations between him and Zucolotto would involve mitigating the sentence and reducing the fine that should be paid in a plea bargain.

The money from slush two, still according to Duran, would serve Zucolotto to “take care” of the people who would help him in the negotiation, which would be done with the Lava Jato task force in Curitiba.
