Willian Bigode is no longer a Fluminense player. The player agreed, this Monday (20), his loan transfer to Athletico-PR. The negotiation was made at the request of the attacker. The contract with Athletico runs until the end of this year. Willian presents himself to the new club this Tuesday (21) to undergo tests and sign the contract.

Fluminense had released the attacker amid the controversy of the blow suffered by Gustavo Scarpa and Mayke. The former teammates from the time of Palmeiras said they had invested in cryptocurrencies under the guidance of a company in which Bigode is a partner.

Willian played 57 games and scored six goals for Tricolor in Rio de Janeiro. The official note from Fluminense says that the negotiation was a request from Willian:

“Fluminense FC informs that striker Willian Bigode has been released, at his request, to settle his transfer to Athletico, who sought out Fluminense requesting the player. With 57 games and six goals for Tricolor, Willian will sign a loan contract until the end of the year with the club from Paraná. Good luck in the season, Guerreiro”.

Willian has not been to the CT since the coup scandal became public. The player was left out of the two semifinal games of the Campeonato Carioca on the grounds of solving particular problems. Officially, Flu did not comment on the matter, but internally the club was aware of the movements.
