In her first boxing fight, the nutritionist from Amapá Emilene Juarez showed that even with the short amount of time for training, she managed to win against the former panicat Fernanda Lacerdaknown as ‘beggar’, on Saturday (24), in the fourth edition of the Fight Music Show, an event that combines fights, music and entertainment, in São Paulo.
The wife of former boxer Acelino ‘Popo’ Freitas won unanimously and wrote on her social media about her experience. “God does not choose the prepared, he prepares the chosen. I have so much to say about this experience and thank so many people, but I can only thank Him.”
The fight started with Fernanda attacking Emilene and cornering her rival in one of the corners of the ring. The nutritionist resisted until the end of the 1st round. After the break, Popó’s wife threw a series of blows and almost felled ‘beggar’.
In the 3rd round, the two had a long exchange of punches, which drove the audience crazy, but in the fourth and final round, Emilene knocked Fernanda down, but she managed to stay until the end. The victory went to Popó’s wife, by unanimous decision.
Emilene Juarez, 33 years old, started training at the beginning of January, when the fight was confirmed, dedicating herself to training, which used to be two to three times a day. In addition to receiving guidance from her husband, she had a team that helped her achieve success.
About Emilene
Born in Macapá, Emilene has a twin sister, Emilie, who is also a nutritionist, and together they work on weight loss programs, using social media to give healthy eating tips and share their training routines and the results obtained. In addition to Emilie, the nutritionist is the sister of journalist Elaine Juarez.
The nutritionist and Popó have been married for just over three years, but have been together for eight years, on and off over that time. In 2016, the couple participated in the reality show Power Couple, on SBT, but separated shortly afterwards. They resumed their union at the end of 2019 and made it official in July 2020.
