Amidst a veiled silence, the government Clecio Luis, since the day after he took office, January 2nd, until this Tuesday, the 24th, he has already performed 256 orthopedic surgeries at the Emergency Hospital (HE) and also at Hospital de Clínicas Alberto Lima (Hcal).
Breaking the silence, the governor was in the morning at HE, when he announced the immediate transfer of 18 patients from that facility to the Hcal for the purpose of undergoing orthopedic surgery.
Asked if the transfer represented the beginning of the surgeries that he had announced as soon as he took over the management of the state, Clecio Luis revealed that the movement represented the second stage of the ‘Mutirão Zero Fila’since until that moment 256 people had already undergone the procedure, since January 2nd.
Clearing the queue of trauma patients was a campaign commitment by the then candidate for the government of Amapá, Clecio Luis, registered in the notary. Now in charge of the chief executive of Amapá, after the first stage of the surgery program, this Tuesday the second began, aiming to operate 150 people until the next 29th, closing the month with 406 surgeries of patients who arrived at hospitals victims of accidents of transit, work and home.
The health secretary, Silvana Vedovelli, also present in emergency hospital, with Clecio Luis, reported that in this short period of time, the government increased the operating rooms in the hospital by 50% HE and not Hospital Alberto Lima. Today the state has six operating rooms, three in each establishment, and three more are in the completion phase at Hcal.
The governor also said that his administration has achieved the great feat of orthopedic surgeries because it created an understanding with equipment and input suppliers, as well as with teams of surgeons, nurses and other professionals in the state’s health sector.
Clecio Luis it also announced the third stage of Mutirão Zera Fila, which will cover, through public calls, people who have been out of hospitals for a long time in need of orthopedic surgery, and also those who have had surgery provisionally or the procedure is not right.
“Then we will work on general surgery and vascular surgeries. This way we will move forward and fulfill the Mutirão Zera Fila promised in the election campaign”concluded the governor.
