Amapá and Roraima share experiences to expand trade relations abroad – News of Brazil

Located in the extreme north of Brazil, the states of Amapá it’s from roraima they also have in common the search for the expansion of commercial relations with the exterior using the privileged geographic location of the two states.
While roraima is close to the countries of the Caribbean, Amapá is in the border area with French Guiana, a gateway to European trade. The scenario provides a vocation to intensify the exchange of international goods and services.
To deepen the subject, the secretary of International Relations and Foreign Trade of Amapá, Lucas Abrahao, exchanged experiences with the managers of Roraima.
“Roraima has a lot to contribute with us, regarding the development of the primary sector, in industry and foreign trade, which is why we are interested in this exchange of experiences. We want to continue this link, strengthening the Amazonian economy so that we stand out in the northern region”commented the secretary Lucas Abraham.
For the Deputy Secretary of State for Agriculture, Development and Innovation of Roraima, Marlon Cristiano Buss, the meeting provided an opportunity to exchange information on strategic points for the development of both states. “I am sure that we will have new opportunities to talk about these subjects and even visit this promising state that is Amapá”pointed out the manager.
The coordinator of International Business of Roraima, Eduardo Oestreicher; the forestry engineer, Joane Helena Maggioni; and the agronomist, Guilherme Cavalcante.
The meeting took place at the Secretary of Agriculture and Development of the State of Roraima.
