Player reacted in defense of teammate Brian Brobbey who would have suffered racism from fans
Netherlands – Ajax player Steven Berghuis, 31 years old, attacked a Twente fan at the exit of the stadium after the 3-1 defeat, in a match valid for the Dutch Championship this Sunday (28), according to Berghuis, the fan would have directed racist insults against his teammate of team, Brian Brobbey.
The fact happened at the moment when the players were getting on the bus to leave the stadium at the opponent’s house when the alleged aggressor would have shouted that Brobbey was a “black cancer”.
By means of a note, the direction of Ajax communicated that it will investigate the case.
