After Bolsonaro deputies overturned the granting of the Tiradentes Medal from the Legislative Assembly of Rio de Janeiro to the Arco-Íris Group, which organizes LGBTQIA+ parades in the state, deputy Carlos Minc (PSB) promoted an alternative ceremony at the House this Thursday (16).
Grupo Arco-Íris received a trophy and presented its new choir. There were also performances by seven drag queens in the plenary.
The LGBTQIA+ parade in Rio will be next Sunday (19).
