The Federal Deputy, Acácio Favacho (MDB/AP), participated in a public hearing at the Legislative Assembly of the State of Amapá (ALAP), this Thursday (11), together with the Executive Secretary of the Ministry of Cities, Hildo Rocha, they committed themselves to writing a letter to the Ministry of Management and Innovation in Public Services to discuss solutions for the reorganization and salary loss of Funasa employees .
The event aimed to discuss the impacts of Provisional Measure 1156/23, which provides for the extinction of the National Health Foundation (Funasa). The round table is the result of an approved request authored by the Deputy and president of the Urban Development Commission (CDU), of the Chamber of Deputies.
“I believe in and defend the non-extinction of Funasa, but a reorganization of the institution. We need to value these employees who have done so much to serve the people of Amapá”explains.
The Deputy, together with the Executive Secretary of the Ministry of Cities, Hildo Rocha, also present at ALAP, undertook to write a letter to the Ministry of Management and Innovation in Public Services to discuss solutions for the reorganization and salary loss of Funasa employees .
“We cannot have salary loss, that no father of the family has damages in his salary. My mandate is built on connectivity between the constituted powers, uniting Amapá and the Federal Government in dialogue”, defend. Acácio also committed to requesting a public hearing at the CDU of which he is president to discuss the extinction of Funasa in Brazil.
The Measure also establishes that the body’s structure, its patrimony, collection, contracts and servants be incorporated and its powers transferred to the Ministry of Health, with regard to the exercise of activities related to health and environment surveillance, and to the Ministry of Cities, regarding the exercise of other activities.
