Federal deputy Acácio Favacho (MDB-AP) holds, this Monday (18), an extraordinary meeting at the Urban Development Commission (CDU), in the Chamber of Deputies. During the discussion and voting on legislative proposals, the deputy presents requests asking for clarification regarding the adjustment in the electricity tariff in Amapá.
“It is necessary to check with the National Electric Energy Agency (ANEEL) which indexes most impacted the decision and justify the tariff review”, states.
Favacho asked the Minister of Mines and Energy, Alexandre Silveira, for information about the indices, as well as the cost spreadsheet – with receipts – that supported the Extraordinary Tariff Revision Proposal of Equatorial Energia (CEA), in Amapá, authorized by the National Energy Agency. Electric Energy (ANEEL). The deputy also asked the Minister of Finance, Fernando Haddad, for information about credit takings by the company Grupo Equatorial, from financial entities, public or private.
He also requested clarification from the president of Banco da Amazônia, Luiz Cláudio Moreira Lessa, regarding information about credit taking by the company Grupo Equatorial, with Banco da Amazônia – BASA, for investments in the state of Amapá.
Acácio Favacho formalized the creation of the special subcommittee within the Urban Development Commission with the objective of analyzing and finding solutions for technical and tariff obstacles to the supply of electricity in the state of Amapá. “The subcommittee comes to seek solutions to the recurring problems of high costs that affect the distribution of energy to the population of Amapá. I hope to count on the support of the noble peers of this committee so that we can obtain the necessary clarifications on this important topic for the urban development of our Amapá”, explains.
