Government offers 14% readjustment to education servers

Sinteam and Avamseg must meet with the General Assembly to deliberate with the category

Manaus (AM) – This Monday afternoon (29), the Education Commission of the Legislative Assembly of Amazonas (Aleam), chaired by state deputy Cabo Maciel (PL), participated in yet another round of negotiations between the Secretary General of Government, Sérgio Litaiff, and representatives of Education servants.

The representative of the Union of Workers in Education of the State of Amazonas (Sinteam), Profª Ana Cristina Rodrigues, and the representatives of the Association of Administrative Servants of Education (Avamseg), Cléia Branches and Raynara Pinheiro, were present.

At the meeting, the Government proposed a 14% salary increase, bonus for absences plus reimbursement, with a date to be defined for the respective refund, the formation of a commission to review the Positions, Careers and Remuneration Plan (PCCR) for professionals of education and vertical progression.

With the proposal in hand, Sinteam and Avamseg must meet with their members in a General Assembly to deliberate with the category. “The representatives will take the Government’s suggestion to the Education Servants and a second round of meeting has been pre-established for Wednesday (31), at the Government Headquarters”, said Cabo Maciel.

The deputy also reiterated the commitment of the Education Commission for the Education of Amazonas. “We will remain present in the intermediation between the category and the State Government, in the person of Governor Wilson Lima, who opened this channel of dialogue with the Secretary General of Government, Sérgio Litaiff. Education workers can count on us”, concluded Cabo Maciel.
