The CPMI sessions of the January 8 acts that were scheduled for this week were postponed to July 11 and 13, according to a statement published by federal deputy Arthur Maia (União Brasil-BA), president of the commission, in the this Monday morning (3).
The postponement, according to Maia, was due to the determination of the President of the Chamber of Deputies, Arthur Lira (PP-AL), to carry out deliberative actions in plenary every day this week to analyze priority government agendas, such as fiscal framework projects. , tax reform and return of the casting vote to Carf.
“Considering the intense agenda of the Chamber of Deputies this week, with deliberative sessions to be held every day, with the suspension of the activity of its committees and with the consideration of relevant matters, […] it was decided to postpone the meetings of this commission”, said Arthur Maia.
With that, the testimony of the former assistant of former President Jair Bolsonaro (PL), Mauro Cid, which would be held this Tuesday (4), was rescheduled for June 11, at 9 am.
