The gesture of the CPI rapporteur of the 8th of January, Eliziane Gama (PSD-MA), of erecting the Federal Constitution after the approval of the report was inspired by the famous image of the then deputy Ulysses Guimarães (MDB) when promulgating the Charter, in 1988.
The idea was from the senator’s communications team. The intention was to associate the outcome of the CPI with a reaffirmation of the Constitution and democracy, after the acts of January 8th.
