50th edition of the Brazil Futsal Cup ends with an unbeaten title for Estrela do Norte

Manaus (AM) – The title of the 50th Brazilian Adult Futsal Cup is for Estrela do Norte/Manaus. Last Saturday, 2/9, the Manauara team ensured the unprecedented conquest for Amazon futsal by beating Campo Largo-PI by 4 to 3. Held for the first time on Amazonian soil, the national competition had the games hosted at the Arena Amadeu Teixeira , with support from Manaus City Hall, through the Manaus Sport Foundation (FME), and was operated by the Brazilian Futsal Confederation (CBFs), with local support from the Amazonense Futsal Federation (FAFs).
Estrela do Norte’s goals in the final were scored by Giannini (2), Kleyton and Levi. William (2) and Rudson scored the goals from Piauí, but the party was held by the Manauara fans at the pulsating Arena Amadeu Teixeira. The title campaign was undefeated, with four wins and one draw.
“We closed this great competition with a golden key, which the city hall, through the FME, was very happy to give support. For a week, Manaus was the national futsal capital. Manauara fans are passionate about sports and very competitive. It was really nice to see the party and the vibe with the Estrela do Norte title. It gives us even more strength to continue promoting moments like this for our people”, declared Alexandre Maciel, CEO of FME.
Estrela do Norte, which is based in the São José neighborhood, in the east of Manaus, and also supported by the city hall, is guaranteed in the Special Division of the Taça Brasil in 2024, as well as the opponent of the decision.
