The deliveries and authorization to start works are the result of initiatives by the Ministry of Integration and Regional Development with amendments by the senator David Alcolumbre.
“The important thing is to understand the result for the state; tractors, machines of all kinds, inputs, specific areas of strong performance, such as urban infrastructure. In the field of production, equipment that is fundamental for us to develop; everything is contributing to make an important qualitative leap for the development of Amapá”said the governor Clecio Louis.
More than 400 million reais in equipment and services were delivered to the municipalities of Amapá, with a view to strengthening the production process. In addition to the 2,500 sterndrive engines, 49 pickup trucks and five motor graders were delivered. The latter can be used for large-scale civil works.
“There are thousands of sterndrive engines for fishermen and small producers to be able to get around. So it’s a historic achievement. I like to point out that we managed to experience historic moments from a political point of view, where each one spares no effort to deliver. We are improving people’s lives.”said Senator David Alcolumbre.
During the ceremony, almost all the mayors of the state of Amapá were present who, one by one, signed the service order to authorize the beginning of the execution of the asphalt paving services. The signatures were accompanied by the director of integrated development and infrastructure, Henrique Bernardes, in addition to the minister Waldez Goes, of the senator David and the governor Clecio.
“We are talking about development, improving the quality of life. When you have more production, you have more jobs, more income and quality of life. We are talking about more technology, inputs, road infrastructure equipment, credits. We have no doubt that we will have more opportunities for employment and income in the state of Amapá”said the minister Waldez Goes.
