This weekend, the Amapaense Indoor Soccer Federation (Fafs) was holding the 2nd Interdistrict Tournament of the modality, in the district of São Joaquim do Pacuí. In all, 32 teams, male and female, were participating in the competition. Only four of each suit advance to the final, which will take place in Macapá.
The event is the result of an amendment by councilors Gean do Nae and Carlos Murilo and support from the City of Macapá, through the Municipal Secretary of Sport and Leisure (Semel) and Health (Semsa). “We had a full audience, prestigious families, and we are very happy with this event held”he said gean do nae.
The president of FAFS, Robson Handerson, explains that the final will be a big party for everyone. “We thank the City Hall and the Councilors for giving us this strength. We are going to have a big party in the final, in Macapá, and the Federation will be responsible for transport, accommodation, food and prizes for the finalist teams. Every year that passes it gets more organized and it is very important to take these competitions to the districts”he said.
The director of the São Joaquim do Pacuí State School, Cristinei Ferreira, talks about the sporting event going to the community. “It is an honor for the community to host this event where the teams can interact and provide opportunities for our young people, considering that sport is the only leisure option we have here and that this partnership can happen more often”ends.
