Live album ‘Pérolas Negras’ comes out on February 16th with success from pagode group Katinguelê among songs by Caetano Veloso, Cartola, Djavan and Johnny Alf. A song never recorded by the author, Dengue was revived by Zezé in 1987 in a special produced in Brazil for French TV – and perpetuated on DVD released in 2005 with the title La femme enchantéé – and re-recorded by Arícia Mess on the album Onde Mora o Secret (2010) . 46 years after the original recording, Dengue reappears in Zezé’s voice among the 12 songs that make up the repertoire of the album Pérolas Negras. Scheduled for release on February 16th in digital edition and on CD, in addition to having an LP edition scheduled for the first half of 2024, the album Pérolas Negras brings together 12 numbers from the show that brings together Zezé Motta with Alaíde Costa and Eliana Pittman. In addition to the memory of Dengue by Eliana Pittman, another surprise in the repertoire is a hit by the pagode group Katinguelê, Message to my beloved (Juninho Araújo e Salgadinho, 1996), in the voice of Alaíde Costa. The 12 numbers on the album were captured in several presentations of the show produced under the artistic direction of Thiago Marques Luiz. On the album Pérolas Negras, whose cover displays art created by Leandro Arraes based on a photo by Murilo Alvesso, each singer performs four numbers under the musical direction of João Barros (guitar and cavaquinho). Musicians Emerson Marciano (double bass), Fábio Faustino (drums and percussion) and Gabriel Deodato (six and seven string guitars) form the band for the album/show with João Barros.
