On Wednesday (28) and Thursday (29), kits will be delivered to participants in the Macapá Summer Street Race, which will take place on Saturday, July 1⁰, kicking off the official schedule of the City Hall of Macapá.
The 5,000 subscribers will receive the event’s shirt and a number on their chest with a timing chip at the Glicério Marques Sports Complex, from 9 am to 7 pm. Participants must present an identification document at the time of withdrawal.
It will be necessary to deliver 2 kg of non-perishable food during kit collection. The athlete who does not pick up his kit on the dates and times stipulated by the organization will lose the right to the items. The removal of the kit by third parties will also be allowed, provided they present the original identification document of the registered athlete.
The race will run for 5 km and will award prizes for male, female and age groups.
Street Race Macapá Summer 2023
All vacancies made available by the Municipality of Macapá were filled, totaling 5 thousand corridors. The race is organized by the Municipal Secretary of Sport and Leisure (Semel) and will take place on July 1st, starting and finishing on Avenida Raimundo Álvares da Costa, next to Poeirão. The concentration will be at 5:30 am, with departure scheduled for 6 am.
During the course, participants will have hydration stations, rescuers and an ambulance upon arrival, ensuring the safety and well-being of all involved.
