Flamengo released the list of players for the Club World Cup, which started this Wednesday and will run until the 11th in Morocco. There are no surprises in the total of 31 names chosen by coach Vitor Pereira. But some presences stand out. Among them, that of the Chilean Arturo Vidal, who this week became involved in controversy by publicly suggesting that Colo-Colo remove him from the Red-Black team.
The news didn’t resonate well in Brazil and caused a unease with the fans, forcing the midfielder to apologize. His presence on the list shows that Vitor Pereira revealed the episode.
Also on the list is goalkeeper Hugo. He, who was already a starter, lost space and was almost transferred to Japanese football. His presence in Morocco was also in doubt.

Finally, Vitor Pereira returned to list Bruno Henrique. His presence in the group, however, does not mean he is able to play. The attacker continues to be treated for a right knee injury. He had already been part of the group that traveled to Brasília, where Flamengo played in the Brazilian Super Cup against Palmeiras, on the last 28th.
Flamengo travels to Morocco this Thursday night. The team will face the winner of Wydad Casablanca v Al-Hilal on Tuesday. Moroccans and Arabs duel this Saturday, for the quarterfinals. The final of the tournament is scheduled for Saturday, the 11th.
