The paving works carried out by the Government of Amapá, on the Ramal do Farinha Seca, which will connect BR-210 to Rodovia AP 070, in the rural area of Macapá, have advanced. This Saturday, the 29th, governor Clécio Luís made a technical visit to the 8 kilometers of asphalt already completed, including curb services, and followed the section where the machines are working on earthworks and soil movement.
Accompanied by senator Davi Alcolumbre, who allocated R$ 16 million for 10 KM of extension; the Minister of Regional Integration and Development (MIDR), Waldez Góes, and the government team, Clécio Luís highlighted the importance of the structure for the economic development of Amapá, directly impacting the flow of agricultural production.
“This branch will enable production and flow, as well as stimulate and guarantee the logistical security that rural producers need to plant, harvest and transport at a low cost to the port or other location. This structure is transformative for the region”, emphasized the governor.
The work will facilitate the flow of food and grain production throughout the state, in addition to generating jobs and income for the population, and will bring greater safety and quality in mobility and vehicle traffic.
“This work aims to develop Amapá, whether from the point of view of road structure or grain production. Here we will have great integration because vehicles coming from the South and North of the state will be able to access the other municipalities through it. Producers will be able to better sell their plantations”, emphasized Senator Davi Alcolumbre.
In addition to the asphalt paving with drainage, paving is being done and later, the entire extension will receive horizontal and vertical signage.
“This region has food production potential and for that, it needs a structure like this road and we already have the highway to Itaubal completed and now we are reaching the branches. This values productive lands, increases productivity and contributes to improving Amapá’s infrastructure and ensuring dignity for the surrounding communities”, highlighted the MIDR minister, Waldez Góes.
Since the return of work, the Government has created approximately 100 direct and indirect jobs. Currently, truck traffic with products is carried out through the quilombola area of Curiaú, making the route longer. The services began in 2022 and are expected to be completed this year.
The inspection was accompanied by vice-governor Teles Júnior, deputies Jesus Pontes, Aldilene Souza, Inácio Maciel, the secretary of Transport, Aldinei Amanajás, and the technical directorate of the Companhia de Desenvolvimento dos Vales São Francisco e Parnaíba (Codevasf).
