With four debutants, the interim coach Ramon Menezes summoned this Sunday the Brazilian team for the friendlies against Guinea and Senegal. The matches will take place on the 17th and 20th of next month in Spain.
Full-backs Ayrton Lucas (Flamengo) and Vanderson (Monaco-FRA), attacking midfielder Joelinton (Newcastle-ING) and defender (Fluminense) were the main newcomers on the list.
Striker Malcom (Zenit-RUS) was called up for the third time, but so far he hasn’t entered the field wearing the team’s jersey.
Ramon came from Argentina, where he is leading the team at the under-20 World Cup, and traveled to Rio de Janeiro just to announce his squad.
He occupies the position while the CBF (Brazilian Football Confederation) does not define the definitive replacement for Tite, who left the selection after last year’s World Cup. Of the players who went to Qatar, 14 have now been called up for friendlies.
