With breath and sky blue, Canobbio “disenchanted” for Athletico

An Uruguayan had the only goal cry from the fans of the athletic on the night of this Wednesday (5). Just six minutes into the game, Agustín Canobbio scored at Maracanã against Flamengo, in the first leg of the quarterfinals of the Copa do Brasil. The home team ended up turning the score around and won 2-1, with goals from Pedro and Bruno Henrique.
In a quick counterattack, Vitor Roque won the challenge with Pulgar and the ball was left for Canobbio, in blue, to score for Hurricane. Precisely the Celeste shirt in honor of the title of the South American Championship, launched in March.
It was just the striker’s fourth goal of the 2023 season. He hasn’t scored in 11 games, since the 3-2 victory in the derby against Coritiba on May 14. Before, the player had also scored against Cianorte and Aruko, both for Campeonato Paranaense.
Against Flamengo, Canobbio turned out to be Athletico’s best player. He stayed on the field until the 34th minute of the second half, when he gave way to Cittadini.
