When giving interviews to radio and TV stations, Governador do Amazonas also highlighted that the festival is ‘on another level’
Parintins (AM) – Governor Wilson Lima presented a partial balance of the actions carried out by the Government of Amazonas in Parintins (369 kilometers from Manaus) and again highlighted that the dispute between Caprichoso and Garantido bulls is ‘on another level’. The statement was made during the second night of the 56th Parintins Folk Festival, this Saturday (1), at the Bumbódromo.
According to Wilson Lima, the balance of the Festival until the beginning of the second night of the Caprichoso and Garantido dispute is very positive. Among the highlights are, mainly, results in the areas of security, employment and income and sustainability, which already surpass numbers from the 2022 edition.
“This Folk Festival of ours is already on another level, now it’s from now on. And we will continue working so that we can have an increasingly beautiful, safe and sustainable party”,
highlighted Wilson Lima, when granting interviews to radio and television stations.
The governor of Amazonas also made a point of greeting authorities present on the second night of the festival, such as state and federal deputies, senators, mayors of the interior, councilors of Manaus and Parintins, as well as artists, influencers and sponsors of the largest cultural festival in the northern region of the Brazil.

At the Turistródomo, located in the square of the Cathedral of Parintins, over 23,000 items were sold in five days, raising approximately R$ 559,300, an amount that already exceeds 2022, when R$ 530,000 in products were sold.
The estimate, until the beginning of this Saturday, was more than 500 vessels and more than 400 flight operations. Even with a large audience, partially estimated at more than 80,000 visitors, the State’s public security forces recorded few occurrences and none of them serious.
Another positive point, one of the pillars of this edition, is the partial result of ‘Recycle, Guys’, a project carried out by the State in partnership with Coca-Cola. By the end of Saturday afternoon, more than four tons of recyclables had been properly disposed of at voluntary delivery points set up in the city.
