The first installment of the 13th salary for state public servants of the Government of Amazonas was paid on May 11th and 12th, and injected more than R$350 million into the Amazonian economy.

“These payments will have a positive impact on the state’s economy, as there will be an increase in consumption, which benefits several sectors, such as retail trade, services, tourism, among others. We hope that there will be a mitigation of the negative effects of the drought crisis, both on economic activity and on the state’s tax revenue”, said the head of the State Secretariat of Finance (Sefaz-AM), Alex Del Giglio.
