Manaus (AM) — Super Nova Era opens, this Thursday (7), starting at 7:30 am, the group’s 13th unit in the capital of Amazonas. Located at Avenida Coronel Teixeira, 7849, Ponta Negra, the new unit expands the presence of the wholesale network in all areas of Manaus and contributes to the state’s economy, generating 244 jobs.

Recently, the group opened a unit in the Alvorada neighborhood and expansion planning continues. This year, the expectation is to open another unit in Manaus, thus reaching 20 throughout the North region. In addition to Amazonas, the chain is also present with four units in Porto Velho, Rondônia, and three in Boa Vista, Roraima.

The Ponta Negra store represents the generation of more jobs in the city, in addition to the 4,275 jobs maintained by the Group. The new unit operates within the same service concept as the others, in the cash & carry line, aimed at both those who buy wholesale (in large quantities) and retail. It has a large space, distributed in several sectors, such as fishmongers, butchers, fruit and vegetables and bakery.

According to Nova Era’s Commercial Director, Tarcísio Bunzli, the population of Manaus is gaining yet another modern and complete store, with quality products and services that make a difference in their daily lives and that are already recognized.

“This is the case of TeuCard, the network’s own card, which offers exclusive benefits and installments for purchases in up to three interest-free installments”,

he said.

For the opening of the Ponta Negra unit, he said, a large program is being prepared, with offers in different segments and 0.5% cashback across the entire store. TeuCard teams are analyzing, approving and printing the card on the spot. In addition, anyone who signs up for the TeuCard platinum gets two months of free dental plan.

Installed for more than 40 years in the North region, Grupo Nova Era was appointed, for two consecutive years (2022 and 2023), as the largest wholesaler and distributor in the region, by ABAD/Nielsen. The survey is organized by the Brazilian Association of Wholesalers and Distributors (Abad).
