Brazilian will participate in the High Stakes, competition between influencers from around the world
Comedian Whindersson Nunes will debut at the High Stakes, an international boxing tournament between influencers, this Saturday, starting at 2 pm (Brasília time), in London, England. With information from Lance’s website.
The Brazilian will face the Polish Filip “Filipek” Marcinek in the ring, and the Brazilian broadcast will be exclusive to the pay-per-view of the kingpyn.tv website. The fight will be shown by “Podpah”, with comments by Acelino Popó and Amanda Ribas.
Whindersson Nunes and Filip Marcinek weighed in for the fight this Friday. The Brazilian hit the weight of 75.2 kg, while the Pole scored 73.9 kg. During the event, the comedian wore colored dreads and a clown nose and told his opponent “the clown will get you, just like IT, the thing”.
This Saturday’s winners qualify for the High Stakes semifinal, scheduled to take place on June 3, in Dublin, Ireland. Losers also return to the card and face each other. The grand final will be played on August 5th at the O2 Arena, again in London.
Whindersson Nunes has treated the boxing tournament very seriously. During a press conference last week, the Brazilian said he interrupted his career to prepare for the High Stakes. On social media, he even shared some workouts with his followers.
