Vitor Roque does his first training session for Barcelona and poses with Xavi

The attacker Victor Roque left Curitiba last Monday (26), performed at the Barcelona the following day and this Friday (29) he completed his first training session with the Catalan club. “Tigrinho”, as he is called there, met his teammates, posed for a photo alongside coach Xavi and has already given an interview.
“Everyone is very good, but I really want to play with Lewandowski. And, of course, with Raphinha too. I’m going to make a dream come true”, praised Vitor Roque to the club’s official website. The striker also highlighted what his biggest desire for Barça is. “That’s clear to me: winning the Champions League would be my biggest dream.”
The ex-Athletico will be officially presented by Barcelona on January 3rd. The day before, he must participate with the squad in a visit to Barcelona hospitals, which is a club tradition.
Barça debut could happen on January 4, 2024next Thursday, against Las Palmas, in the 19th round of the Spanish Championship, but coach Xavi has already asked for caution when incorporating the striker into the main squad.
After 19 months wearing the Furacão shirt, Roque said goodbye to the club in the victory over Santos, at Arena da Baixada, in the penultimate round of the Brasileirão. The biggest signing and also the biggest sale in Furacão’s history, the striker played in 81 matches, with 28 goals and 11 assists.
Since his arrival, in April 2022, he has spent 600 days at the club. Furacão signed him for R$24 million and sold him in a negotiation that could exceed R$390 million.
