Vinicius Jr: Black movement plans protest at the consulate – 05/23/2023 – Sport

Groups representing the black movement intend to carry out acts of repudiation of the racial discrimination suffered by the Brazilian player Vinicius Junior. The demonstration is scheduled to take place at the headquarters of the Spanish consulate in São Paulo, this Tuesday afternoon (23), in the Jardim América region.

“Enough of racism. The black movement here in SP will be on the field, once again, in solidarity with Vini. He is not alone”, wrote Luka Franca, representative of the MNU (Unified Black Movement).

The racist acts of Valencia fans against the Brazilian athlete have generated repercussions in Brazil and the world. Artists like Ludmilla, Gilberto Gil and Taís Araújo and President Lula (PT) offered solidarity to the Real Madrid striker and demanded serious measures.
