Video of Bruno Mars paying homage to Brazil is the most viewed on the singer’s social networks

Singer reached millions of views on his Instagram and Twitter profiles after thanking Brazil in a video featuring funk and a walk through São Paulo

Bruno Mars responded to “Come To Brasil” in the best way possible. The singer visited Brazil in two shows held at The Town festival, in São Paulo, on the 3rd and 10th of September, and thanked the fans for their reception and affection with a video published on his Instagram and Twitter. The records reached millions of views and are already the artist’s most viewed on his official platforms.

Bruno Mars ended his visit to Brazil in a dancing video published on Monday afternoon (11), around 6pm. In it, Bruno wears the Brazil shirt and walks through some streets of São Paulo to the sound of funk music that says “Come To Brasil”. In less than 24 hours, the publication on Instagram reached more than 31 million views on Instagram and more than 1 million on Twitter as of Tuesday afternoon (12).

With this, Brazil sets a new record for “Bruninho” – a nickname that the artist himself shared in the video. This is because the two publications were the most viewed on the singer’s social networks. On Instagram, this post belonged to a video of rapper Cardi B lip-synching to the song “Finesse”, published by the singer in 2018.

“It’s been six long years, but I finally ‘came to Brazil’”, he wrote in the caption of the posts. “Thank you São Paulo for two incredible nights. I love you, Mr. Bruninho.”

On Twitter, the singer has reached more than 300,000 likes so far. Look:

The Town took place on the 2nd, 3rd, 7th, 9th and 10th of September and brought together 500 thousand people for performances by Post Malone, Demi Lovato, Planet Hemp, DJ Alok, Luísa Sonza, Bruno Mars and more. The owner of “Locked Out Of Heaven” performed as headliners for two sold out days, the 3rd and 10th, performing in front of approximately 100 thousand people.
